Brazil needs to find more large pork customers. That wise lesson can be learnt after the latest outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) in the country. Although no pig has been involved, FMD caused Russia, Argentina and South Africa, countries responsible for the lion’s share of what is bought, to halt pork imports.
