Russian pig sector in a very good mood

Russian government was right when it claimed 2005 would be the ‘year of the pig’. The country saw a huge wave of investments that will be boosted in 2006 by a plan launched in the end of 2005 to promote agriculture, particularly animal production. As another sign of this good trend, the pig was one of the stars of the last exhibition ‘Zierno-Kombikorma-Veterinaria’, taking place in Moscow, 7-10 February.
