Nicolas de Wilde (40) owns De Wilde Farm, located in Cortil-Noirmont, Belgium. This is a mixed farm with pigs, beef cattle and arable farming. With regard to pigs, the farm has a 135 sow farrow-to-finish facility, working on a 5-week system with 4 production groups. De Wilde will breed his own sows. The farm uses genetics from Denmark and a Piétrain terminal sire from the breeding organisation Axiom. De Wilde is a semi-self-mixer.
