HyoVet and Porcus have entered into an agreement to merge their activities and establish a new, unified organisation for the development of solutions that support competitive pig production in Denmark and the rest of Europe. The new organisation will continue under the name Porcus.
Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health has invested US$3.5 million in infrastructure to enable postbiotic fermentation at its Cedar Rapids, Iowa facility. Nutrition solutions produced in Cedar Rapids are shipped both domestically and internationally. The upgrades were completed in February 2026 and are now fully operational.
Belfeed xylanase is now officially registered in the European Union for use in sows, with authorisation effective as of 11 March 2026. The company states that xylanase improves nutrient release, enhances digestibility, and supports feed efficiency.
Adisseo has launched Sanion Tetra 50 and Sanion Tetra 70. Part of Adisseo’s Animal Resilience portfolio, these protected sodium butyrate additives with 50% and 70% active content and have been designed to support gut health and animal performance.
Alltech has released the results of its 2026 Alltech Asia Import Risk Analysis. Now in its 5th edition, this report uses data from the Alltech Harvest Analysis to provide Asian feed and livestock producers with the insights needed to optimise nutritional strategies in the coming months. The report identifies key themes by region, and contains risk assessments for individual species, such as broilers, grow/finish pigs and dairy cows.
De Heus Vietnam and Hung Nhon Group have deepened their partnership with a US$730 million investment plan through 2036 focused on building an integrated, technology-driven livestock value chain. The strategy emphasizes green agriculture, biosafety, and emissions reduction. In a separate move, Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Vietnam, BEL GÀ Vietnam and TTC Energy Company signed an agreement to develop rooftop solar systems across farms and production sites. Expected annual output is about 18,500 MWh of clean electricity and a reduction of roughly 18,000 tonnes of CO₂ each year.
Launched by Roam Technology and approved by Defra, Virox is a broad-spectrum surface disinfectant that effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses, yeasts and fungi while meeting European EN standards. The product has been developed specifically for use across livestock systems. Formulated using potassium peroxymonosulphate, Virox can be used on surfaces and equipment, in footbaths, and on vehicles and wheels.
