China imposes import duties on European pork

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has announced import duties on pork originating from the European Union, starting September 10. The imports totally have a value over US$ 2 billion. That means that meatpacker Vion will face an additional 32.7% duty. Danish Crown will face a 31.3% duty, and Spanish Litera Meat a 15.6% duty.
