Reduced muscle growth in pigs sub-clinically affected with proliferative enteropathy

Pigs clinically affected with proliferative enteropathy (PE) suffer diarrhoea, reduced growth and poor feed efficiency, which can cost Australian producers as much as A$7 per pig1.
