Comparison between Virus Neutralization (VN) test, ELISA test and Hemmaglutination Inhibition (HI) test for Blue Eye Disease (BED) diagnosis

Blue Eye Disease (BED) is caused by a Rubulavirus, characterized for producing nervous disorders in suckling pigs and reproductive problems in adult pigs. Serological diagnose is made through tests that quantify neutralizing or hemagglutinant antibodies (VN or HI tests), or based in a S/P relation (ELISA).
