The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, the UK and Germany experienced heavy flooding in July this year. The heavy rains impacted agricultural lands greatly, including this one in the South of the Netherlands (in the rural town Well). Extreme weather conditions, such as drought, fires and flooding, can severely damage food and feed crops. While some crops can be saved after flooding, it is very important they undergo more testing for the presence of mycotoxins and nutritional value.
