Interaction of M. hyo with other pathogens

Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, the primary agent of enzootic pneumonia (EP), is one of the most important pathogens involved in respiratory disease in pigs. Elimination of the organism from infected herds is difficult to achieve and to maintain, and therefore, most efforts are directed towards control of the disease.
