ASF Philippines: Number of outbreaks down in 2025

The Department of Agriculture (DA) has reported that 2025 cases of ASF are significantly lower up to August, compared to the same period in 2024. In a press briefing, assistant secretary Arnel de Mesa credited the decline in ASF cases to the rollout of government-controlled vaccination and stricter border measures.
